Live My Gospel for RMs uses Supabase for sign-in and to sync your planner and people data. The app is a personal planner for returned missionaries: weekly gospel goals, a calendar, people you are building relationships with, a map of where they live, and a journal of memories. Optional Home product surveys may collect feedback answers. You can optionally link accounts to share Planner calendars with one partner. Optional Live My Gospel for RMs Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google; we use RevenueCat to verify purchase status. We do not sell your personal information. The app does not show ads inside the product. In store builds we use Meta (Facebook) App Events to measure advertising performance and attribute app installs from our ads. On iOS, that may use your device’s advertising identifier only if you allow tracking in the system prompt (or later in iOS Settings).
We collect your email address and account identifier for sign-in (email and password, Sign in with Google where available, or Sign in with Apple on iOS). We store the information you enter in the app, including calendar events, weekly goals, daily tasks, status-dot settings, an optional display name, journal entries (text), map pins, and People profiles. People profiles may include names, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, notes, birthdays, family details, and where you met.
If you tap Import from Contacts on a People profile, you choose a contact from your phone. We copy the fields from that contact (such as name, phone, email, address, and birthday) into a People profile on our servers. If you use Share to Live My Gospel for RMs from another app (a Pro feature), we receive only the text, links, or contact cards you choose to share. We do not upload your full address book.
If you attach a photo to a journal memory, that photo stays on this device and is not uploaded to our servers.
If you enable reminders in Settings, the app schedules local notifications on your device for calendar events and daily tasks. Reminder text is built from your planner data on your device. We do not use a remote push notification service and do not collect a push token for delivery.
If you subscribe to Live My Gospel for RMs Pro, Apple or Google processes payment; RevenueCat provides us with subscription status tied to your account (not your full payment card details).
If you complete optional product surveys (for example Home “What do you miss from PMG?” or other in-app feedback), we store your answers—including optional demographic questions and free-text comments—with your account so we can improve the app. Our team may review those answers (including via email digests).
If you use Link accounts in Settings, we store the link between your account and one partner account (invite/accept handshake). When the link is active, Planner calendar events can be viewed and edited by both of you. People lists, goals, dots, and most settings stay private to each account. You can unlink at any time.
If you opt in to our optional newsletter, we send your email to our newsletter provider (Beehiiv) for that publication only. If photo upload features are available in your version of the app for posts, photos you choose from your library may be stored on our servers when you attach them to a post.
For ad install attribution, Meta may receive device-level advertising identifiers and automatic app events (such as install and app activation). On iOS this happens only if you allow tracking. We do not send your Live My Gospel for RMs account email or user id to Meta to link that device identifier to your account.
Your data is used to authenticate you, sync your account across devices, and provide planner, calendar, goals, tasks, people, map, and journal features. Optional survey answers are used to understand product needs and prioritize features. Optional account linking is used only to share Planner calendars with the partner you choose. Optional newsletter opt-in is used only to subscribe you to that mailing list if you turn it on. Local reminders are used only when you enable them. Meta App Events are used only to measure advertising performance and attribute installs from our ads—not to show ads inside the app, and not to advertise using your planner or people content.
By default, your calendar, goals, tasks, dot settings, journal, map pins, and people records stay private to your account. If you activate Link accounts, your linked partner can access your Planner events (and you theirs) until you unlink. We do not sell your personal information. Service providers process data only to operate the app: Supabase (hosting, database, and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription status verification when you purchase Pro), Resend (transactional and product-related email such as survey digests to our team), Meta (Facebook) for install and advertising measurement as described above, and, if you opt in, Beehiiv (newsletter). Payment processing for Pro is handled by Apple or Google. We do not share your planner or people data with advertisers.
You can delete your account in Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion removes your sign-in account and your app data from our backend, including survey answers stored for your account and any survey-digest snapshots tied to your user id. Journal photos stored only on this device are removed when you delete the app or those files on the device. You can skip or decline optional surveys, and you can unlink a shared account in Settings. On iOS you can deny or later revoke tracking permission in the system dialog or in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Deleting your app account does not automatically unsubscribe you from the optional newsletter; manage that on the newsletter provider’s site.
